Bio:
Acclaimed by the press as a "show-stopper", "scene-stealer", and "an audience favorite", Christine Marie Heath has established herself as a Cross-Over Artist, with professional experience in musical theatre and opera, and her versatile career continues to flourish.
Ms. Heath has sung with several theatre companies including The New York Gilbert and Sullivan Players at City Center (Gianetta/The Gondoliers), The Ivoryton Playhouse (Eva Peron/Evita), Bickford Theatre (Woman 1/I Love You, You're Perfect, Now Change), Shreveport Opera (Susanna/Le Nozze di Figaro & Carrie/Carousel), The Princeton Festival (Jenny/Threepenny Opera & Mme. Dubonnet/The Boyfriend), Natchez Music Festival (Magnolia/Show Boat & Laurey/Oklahoma), Delaware Valley Opera (Despina/Cosi fan tutte), Ashlawn Opera Festival (Lilli Vanessi/Kiss Me Kate), Ohio Light Opera (Annina/A Night In Venice & Princess Margaret/The Student Prince), Toledo Opera (Second Lady/The Magic Flute), and Sarasota Opera (Apprentice & Studio Artists). Internationally, she has performed an orchestral concert series called "On Broadway" with Teatro Lirico di Cagliari in Sardinia, Italy; a "A Little Sondheim Music" at La Gran Theatre del Liceu in Barcelona, Spain; and the title role of Evita sung in German at The Musik Theater Chur in Switzerland.
Christine also plays the lead role of Layla Diamond in How To Marry A Divorced Man, a newly written musical based on the book by Leslie Fram and is in the reading stages at various locations in NYC. An avid performer of cabaret shows, she collaborates frequently with her coach and arranger/lyricist, Andrew Byrne, and they continually perform new and exciting repertoire throughout the New York Metropolitan area.
Christine resides one hour north of New York City and is a proud mother of her two beautiful sons, Jake and Sam. Aside from performing, she also has a passion working with rescue animals and has worked with The Humane Society of Blooming Grove and Colby Kennels/The Canine Sanctuary. =^..^=
